——– FROM THE PASTOR ——–
This past week the Diocese of Wilmington hosted a Priesthood Jubilee Celebration Mass that was attended by the priests in our diocese, honoring those priests celebrating significant anniversaries of ordination. Fr. Clemens Manista celebrated his 50th anniversary (ordained on May 4, 1974) and is a former pastor of our Parish. Fr. William Trader, O.Praem. also celebrated his 50th anniversary (ordained on May 18, 1974) and is also known here at our parish as an occasional Mass celebrant.
This week I will “officially” become the Pastor of our parish. Plans are being made to schedule my installation Mass in the near future by the Dean of our Deanery.
Fr. Dave.
